JUST IN: St. Lucie drug bust yields 150 Xanax bars, one arrest


A 23-year-old man had 150 Xanax bars in his possession when he was arrested late Friday, the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office said.

Jimmy Lee Kokkinaris remained in custody Saturday morning at the St. Lucie County jail with his bail set at $61,500. He faces two charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana.

Xanax bars are a segmented pill form of the anti-anxiety drug Alprazolam that can be broken into smaller doses.
