JUST IN: Gas leak in suburban Boca Raton after gas line accidentally cut


Palm Beach County Fire Rescue were able to stop a gas leak Friday morning in suburban Boca Raton after workers accidentally cut into a 2-inch gas line, according to a fire rescue spokesman.

A Special Operations unit responded to the leak near the 9950 block of Bridgebrook Drive around 9 a.m.

After firefighters secured the line, the situation was turned over to the local utility company, the spokesman said.

There were no injuries or reports of evacuations.
