Possible human remains found at St. Lucie construction site


Authorities are investigating what appears to be human remains found Wednesday afternoon in Port St. Lucie. 

A construction crew unearthed the remains near the intersection of U.S. 1 and Kitterman Road, the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office said.

Sheriff’s detectives and crime scene technicians responded to collect the remains for further examination. 

No other details were disclosed Wednesday evening.
