A man who’s been in a standoff for several hours with Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies at a mobile home park near Drexel Road and Okeechobee Boulevard is in custody, the sheriff’s office confirmed around 3:15 p.m.

Deputies were at the park at midday Friday after a man argued with his girlfriend at their mobile home, then fired one gunshot inside and later would not come out, a spokeswoman confirmed. She said no one was struck by gunfire and the woman was out of the residence.

As the standoff drew to a close, a deputy on scene said the man had gotten out of the residence but was located at a nearby flea market. At 3:30 p.m, crime scene tape was still up as a few deputies remained in front of the home.
