BREAKING: One wounded in Boynton Beach shooting


One person was shot and wounded during an apparent exchange of gunfire between two vehicles Wednesday afternoon, Boynton Beach police reported. 

The incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. in the area of Southwest Fourth Street and Southwest Fourth Avenue. Witnesses told police that the occupants of two cars were involved in a gun fight as they drove through a neighborhood.

One man was shot during the exchange. His wounds are not believed to be life-threatening, police said. 

No other details were released.
