BREAKING: Man wanted in nightclub murder of 24-year-old mom arrested in Ga.

Authorities on Thursday arrested a man wanted in the murder last month of a 24-yearold mother of two outside a Palm Springs-area nightclub.

Marcus McKinzie Hull was arrested on a warrant in Tifton, Ga., on a charge of first-degree murder in the death of Kassandra Yamileth Morales.

He also faces three counts of attempted murder with a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm in the attack at the La Isla Del Encanto nightclub.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office identified Hull as a suspect two weeks ago, and Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County this week offered a $3,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

A sheriff’s office tactical team was able to track and locate Hull in Georgia, about 90 miles northeast of Tallahassee. He was taken into custody Thursday without incident, the sheriff’s office said.

Tift County sheriff’s spokesman David Haire said deputies, assisted by federal agents, were given an arrest warrant and arrested Hull at a home in the city at about 3 a.m. Hull was booked into the jail about one-half hour later.

Haire was not able to identify the federal agency, but in such cases, it is the U.S. Marshal that handles interstate cases.

Morales was one of four people shot outside the La Isla Del Encanto nightclub on Military Trail south of Forest Hill Boulevard. The other three people, including two security guards, were treated and later released from a hospital.

Family members told The Palm Beach Post that Morales was with her fiance the night she was shot. She was born in Miami but graduated from Lake Worth High School.

She was a “baseball mom” for the youth leagues at Phipps Park, and she worked as a supervisor for a cleaning company, according to family.

A person with knowledge of the investigation said that there had been argument inside the club before Hull left and came back.  It was not clear what the argument was about.

Hull’s last known address in Palm Beach County was in Delray Beach. Prior to Thursday, he had been arrested once in Palm Beach County, a 2015 incident in Mangonia Park for possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana. That felony charge was later downgraded to a misdemeanor charge of possession of fewer than 20 grams, and Hull entered a pretrial diversion program. The charges were dismissed once he finished it.

A work resume posted online by Hull shows that he held a series of jobs beginning in December 2008, including working as a teaching assistant at a daycare in Delray Beach and as a sales associate for a Boynton Beach clothing store.

In the resume, Hull describes himself as a “fast learner (and) hard worker” who “loves working with others” and is “well regarded” for his people skills.

Morales’ family created a GoFundMe account online to raise money to help her children. As of Thursday night, it had raised about $15,000 of its $25,000 goal.
