Broward school shooting: Olympic Heights students stage walkout, protest


Five days after 17 people were killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School by a 19-year-old gunman, students at Olympic Heights High School in suburban Boca Raton walked out of class Monday morning for a protest.

According to WPTV News Channel 5, there were 100 students involved in today’s protest.

There are several events around raising awareness about guns after the Douglas High shooting today, including a planned rally in Delray Beach at 5 p.m.
