A 12-year-old boy who was shot Saturday afternoon is expected to make a full recovery, according to reports.
Boynton Beach police say the boy was injured in a shooting in the 1000 block of Northwest Fourth Street. Nearby, at the Cherry Hill Mini Market, three men attempted to shoot at other men in the area, police said witnesses reported Saturday.
This was the 10th shooting in the last 20 days in Boynton Beach.
Boynton Beach police are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward and leave information at the anonymous tip line at 561- 742-6802 or Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 800-458-TIPS. Information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a monetary reward from Crime Stoppers. Information can also be left anonymously at the Boynton Beach police website at www.bbpd.org.
