UPDATE: Missing child alert for 3 Florida children canceled

12:20 p.m. UPDATE: The missing child alert has been canceled. 

Original story: A missing child alert has been issued for three Florida children who have not been seen since Tuesday. 

The children — aged 12 months to 6 years old — were last seen in Dade City, northwest of Tampa. Authorities think they may be with Christopher Christy Sr. and Shannon Adams.

Those missing are 1-year-old Christopher Christy, 6-year-old Justin Simonds and 6-year-old Jeremy Simonds. 

Justin and Jeremy both have long hair that they wear in a ponytail.

The man they may be with, Christy Sr., was last seen wearing a light-colored T-shirt and camouflage pants. He has multiple tattoos, including the letter "C" on his left arm, the letter "C" on his right forearm, the words "Turn 'Em Out" on his left hand, and a star on his right arm.

They may be traveling in a 2005, cream Chrysler PT Cruiser with the front painted blue, Florida tag number 663HB.  

Law enforcement authorities said that if you see them, do not approach them but immediately call 9-1-1 or Dade City Police Department at 352-521-1493.
