Palm Beach County has more than two dozen police agencies patrolling within its boundaries. The Palm Beach Post and WPTV NewsChannel 5 pieced together and analyzed shootings from all of them. Plus we added some facts about each agency and the area it patrols, including the number of officers and comparative population by race.

Notes: Population, race and gender of officers employed by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and the number of deputy shootings are available for the agency as a whole only, not for districts that serve specific communities. FAU's population is an estimate based on actual student population at the Boca Raton campus plus estimated faculty and staff population.
