Ever dreamed of partying in a massive, exquisitely furnished mansion with a bevy of celebrities, including an Academy Award-winning actor, but lack access to a mansion, exquisite furniture or celebrities?
The “Dallas Buyers Club” and “The Dark Tower” actor and Lincoln pitchman attended the party with wife and model Camila Alves, along with models Karolina Kurkova and Ines Rivero, RH chairman and CEO Gary Friedman, golf great Greg Norman, “FOX and Friends” personality Steve Doocy, and several local philanthropists and socialites.
Guests made their way through the 80,000 square-foot, four-story facility past an ice bar featuring caviar and vodka martinis, bellinis, wine, and foods from the store’s own RH Cafe, a sophisticated Willy Wonka-esque candy bar and even frose’ (frozen rose) served in the gorgeous intimately-lit garden.
McConaughey, looking cool and rugged in a blue button-down shirt and jeans, held casual court on the fourth floor of the complex, surrounded by his wife, resplendent in gold, Kurkova and others. The actor and his family are in Miami as he films a movie called “The Beach Bum.”
Catching a glimpse of him was one of the most popular features of the party, as guests navigated each room of the store, set up to look like a very fancy house you were invited to wander through and, if you wanted, buy the furnishings.
RH West Palm is the tenth gallery store in the United States for the upscale design store formerly known as Restoration Hardware, but the third site to fully integrate furniture, design and food. The space features showcasing RH Interiors, RH Modern, RH Baby & Child and RH TEEN, as well as the Rooftop Restaurant, which opened Sunday, and the Pantry and Barista Bar.
