CityPlace isn’t just for shopping and dining. The plaza, near downtown West Palm, is always keeping things interesting by hosting several big events throughout the year. From fitness classes to exciting art exhibits, there are plenty of events to enjoy.

African Diaspora Exhibition

Now through Sept. 22 

African Diaspora Exhibition IV  is a 10-day event happening at CityPlace. The exhibition highlights 38 different artists and reflects African Diaspora, the movement of Africans and their descendants to places throughout the world. The exhibition features unique art, music, literature and food.

Live Music Performance Series

Every Friday & Saturday; 7:30 – 10:30 p.m.

Enjoy free live music at CityPlace’s square. September’s music line-up includes KhemistryMister Trombone BandBryant Del Toro and more.

Food & Fun(d) drive

Now through Sept. 30

For the month of September the plaza is hosting the Food & Fun(d) campaign which is benefiting Feeding South Florida. When you dine at select restaurants, CityPlace will donate $1 from the sale of certain menu items to the food drive. For a complete list of participating restaurants, check here.

Also donate three non-perishable food items at guest services and receive four hours of free parking.  For the list of acceptable donation items, click here


District Fit

Oct. 19 through 21

District Fit is back for the second year! The fitness festival features 20 instructors and speakers which will offer a full lineup of indoor and outdoor fitness classes, holistic seminars, nutrition workshops, culinary events, live entertainment and more.  Plus, you’ll find more than 50 pop-up shops and interactive classes. 

Select classes will collect donations for Palm Beach County families and community organizations in the fight against breast cancer. For more information or to register for classes, click here


Urban Youth Artisans Shop

Urban Youth Impact pop-up shop features student artwork, drum performances and freestyle paintings. The shop’s products and services are unique because they are created and managed by inner-city youth. The funds go back to the organization so the children can continue creating art.


Ongoing dates:

  • Wednesday through Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. 
  • Saturday through Sunday 1 to  9 p.m.

Assemblage 

Assemblage is a year-long exhibition on the first floor of the Culture Lab, the art and culture space located in the old Macy’s. Additional artists will be added through spring of 2019. The following artists are now on display:
