It’s that time of year! Funky Buddha Brewery is rolling out its ‘breakfast in a glass’ craft beer brew.
The Oakland Park-based brewery hosts an all-out festival Saturday to mark the limited bottle release of its popular Maple Bacon Coffee Porter.
The beer became a hit when it was released at Funky Buddha’s original brewery in Boca Raton in April 2011. It would come to be rated the world’s second top porter by BeerAdvocate.com, and the top sweet stout by Ratebeer.com. And in 2015, the beer was selected by “People” magazine as one of the country’s best.
Also on tap at the festival will be more than 100 specialty brews by Funky Buddha and guests. There will be live music, street foods served up by local food trucks, and food available from Craft Food Counter & Kitchen.
