With temperatures dropping fast everywhere in the country, there’s no surprise that Sandi, the holiday tree, is coming back to West Palm.
Beginning today, Nov. 13, Sandi will be sculpted during the next two weeks. Visitors can come down to the waterfront to see the construction of the 600-ton tree.
Rumor has it that Sandi won’t be coming alone this year. Apparently, she has fallen in love. Yes, our gigantic 35-foot sand tree is bringing some company when she arrives. Is it a sandman? Jewelry? A pet? We don’t know yet.
Because Sandi is one of our snowbird celebrities, she’s getting a big welcome and reveal during the holiday tree lighting on Nov. 30.
The celebration will feature nightly music, light shows, a full lineup of special events and free family fun in downtown West Palm.
Sandi Land will also serve as an adoption center for furry friends in Palm Beach County.
