Every day should be about Mom, right? But the “official” day to honor her is almost here. Mother’s Day is just around the corner. And what better way to celebrate Mom than treating her to a lovely brunch or dinner?  

Here are some delicious options for dining out on Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Day brunch is a big buffet that includes traditional breakfast items, stations serving waffles, salads, seafood, carved meats, pasta, soup, entrees and desserts.

The PGA National Resort restaurant that won a 2012 Award of Excellence from ‘Wine Spectator’ magazine is hosting a sweet brunch buffet. Standouts include Alaskan King Crab legs, charcuterie boards, prime rib, butter-based turkey and mustard-glazed salmon. Moms will enjoy a complimentary rose and bottomless mimosas.

Restaurants in the Palm Beach Gardens plaza are ready to spoil Mom with these specials, buffets and brunches:

SPOTO’S OYSTER BAR: Brunch features eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, cinnamon French toast, ham and roast beef carving stations, chilled mussels and Asian honey salmon.

PROSECCO CAFÉ: Mom receives a complimentary strawberry prosecco with brunch which includes eggs Benedict with choices of crab or short ribs and dolce dream French toast ($14).

VIC & ANGELO’S: The brunch buffet offers omelet, pasta and carving stations, a raw bar, Italian classics such as clams fra diavolo, chicken piccata and rigatoni Bolognese. Desserts feature a dessert tower, the cappuccino bar and a chocolate fountain.

The restaurant’s newest location in Gardens (as well as the one in downtown West Palm) will host a special brunch for mothers featuring overnight roasted prime rib, lobster and asparagus risotto, snapper with bunato puree and mango salsa and shrimp and salmon hash topped with a poached egg. The Breakers offers the mother of all traditional brunches which is served in the Circle ballroom with 30-foot, fresco-covered ceilings and sweeping views of the ocean. The new taco shop in Wellington will debut the restaurant’s weekend brunch on Mother’s Day. And will offer brunch every Saturday and Sunday after that.

An oceanfront Delray Beach mainstay, Caffe Luna Rosa serves Mother’s Day brunch with a glorious view. Along with their regular brunch menu, Mother’s Day specials include grilled shrimp and fresh berry salad with goat cheese and filet mignon with shrimp fried rice. For a special Mother’s Day dinner, menu items include a Maine lobster cocktail, gnocchi Cardinale with house-made potato gnocchi pasta served with jumbo lump crab and filet mignon medallions with roasted mushrooms.
