MENU

Classic Italian eatery and pizzeria, with appetizers, salads, soup, hot and cold subs, wide assortment of pizza, pasta, calzones, stromboli, chicken, beef, sausage, veal, seafood, vegetables, desserts.

ATMOSPHERE

Warm and inviting, with wooden tables and booths, and bright colors accenting Italian landscape pictures and décor. There are a few tables outside if you prefer the downtown Stuart ambiance, and there’s a pickup window for ordering on the run. Luna is the go-to place for comfort food downtown.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

Our party of seven was seated at a big round table inside as the smell of fresh pizza and Italian spices wafted through the air. I decided pizza was the only thing that would satisfy me, so I ordered a large pepperoni ($16.95), big enough for everyone to sample a slice. The perfectly browned and slightly crispy crust was amazing, as was the rich combination of melted cheeses, flavorful tomato sauce and pepperoni that sat on top. My daughter raved about the baked ziti ($15.95), and my son declared the chicken rollatini ($19.95) delicious, with Italian prosciutto, mozzarella and spices wrapped in chicken and sautéed in a brown marsala sauce with mushrooms. Baskets of garlic knots were delivered to the table to accompany our meals, and most of us had take-home boxes to enjoy leftovers the next day. It was truly a night to savor good company and delectable Italian cuisine.

REASON TO GO

Large portions of delicious, homemade Italian food at a reasonable price. Luna is one eatery in downtown Stuart that has stood the test of time, and for good reason. It appeals to all ages and income brackets.

SERVICE

Our waitress was friendly and quick, checking on us frequently to refill drinks.

NOISE LEVEL

Moderate, with brisk chatter from customers and low music playing.

KID FRIENDLY

Kids have their own menu of such tasty entrees as cheese pizza, spaghetti or ziti with meatball, chicken fingers parmigiana and mozzarella sticks.
