Aaah, Lake Worth. There's just so much to love, so much to be inspired by. From the quirky people and their eclectic tunes to the mix-matched shops along Lake Ave to the Little Free Libraries that entice passersby to take a smartphone break... It's a very cool city.
In fact, Lake Worth is a perfect fit for the very cool and world's largest outdoor museum show, CANVAS. The mural and interactive art initiative makes the people part of the creative process and is officially painting the city of Lake Worth from Sunday, Nov. 26 to Saturday, Dec. 2.
We know some folks are questioning Canvas's city choice. Why Lake Worth, they say? There's public art and murals all over the place, they say.
But we say, is there? Really?
To prove our point, we took to the streets. We're no muralists but we thought as big and random as we could. And now, we're hoping CANVAS, the one-week show held from Lake Worth Beach to City Hall on N. Dixie Highway, will go even deeper into Lake Worth, so "unity" can truly takeover the city.
