La Fontana offers Italian, Eastern European dishes

MENU

The menu features a mix of Italian favorites and Eastern European dishes like cevapi (grilled minced meat), kaymek (a creamy, dairy spread) and Mediterranean beef sausages. Appetizers, sides and desserts are plentiful. Pizza is one of the staples on the menu, with 12 varieties.

ATMOSPHERE

Rustic and warm, with both indoor and outdoor seating.

FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE:

We loved the chicken parmigiana ($13.35), which was served with salad, garlic rolls and a side of pasta. My husband rated it one of the best he’s had, and he’s had plenty. I enjoyed my pasta fagioli soup ($2.95 for a cup) and a Caesar salad with grilled chicken ($9.95). We also shared an order of cevapi ($6 for a small portion), which was served with fresh pita, kaymek and ajvar, a type of relish made with red bell peppers and garlic.

REASON TO GO

Delicious food at reasonable prices.

SERVICE

Fast, friendly and efficient.

NOISE LEVEL

Moderate. We dined on a rainy Sunday evening, so just a few tables were occupied.

KID-FRIENDLY

Yes. The eatery features a kids menu with pasta, pizza, grilled cheese and chicken fingers.
