Rich and charming, with wooden floors and overhead beams and brick walls that give it a comfortable lodge feel. There’s a cozy waiting area with a leather couch and sailfish on the wall as you enter, and two roomy dining areas with wooden booths and marble-topped tables and high tops. The centerpiece bar is exquisite, and you can enjoy live music with your food weekends on the outdoor patio.
OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE
We started with an appetizer of firecracker shrimp ($5.95), tossed with a spicy cream sauce and specially priced during happy hour, and found them a delicious start to a fun evening outdoors with friends. The tilapia dinner ($13.95) was an oh-so-scrumptious plate of the tastiest fish I’ve had in recent memory, blackened upon request and served with mashed potatoes and vegetable. Every bite I took screamed “fresh!” — making for a memorable Florida meal.
REASON TO GO
Unique, inviting décor and fresh, tasty seafood. It’s a great place for the whole family, or to celebrate with friends during daily happy hour and enjoy live music on weekends.
Our waiter was friendly and very attentive to our party of six.
Quiet during a recent weekend happy hour outside since the live music hadn’t yet started.
Children can feast on fried fish or shrimp, chicken tenders, mac and cheese, burgers, corn dogs or quesadillas.
