Aioli Downtown serves breakfast and lunch. The morning menu includes breakfast sandwiches and wraps. For lunch, Aioli serves soup, sandwiches and quiche, along with cookies and muffins. All lunch items cost less than $11. The menu is nearly identical to the one at the original Aioli, a popular eatery still operating on the south end of West Palm Beach.
Aioli Downtown opened in January. The white-and-black décor makes for a similar feel to the original location. It’s a fast-casual set-up — order at the counter, and a server brings the food to your table in a few minutes.
OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE
Everything was excellent. We liked the quiche ($9), the white bean and kale soup ($6) and the gorgonzola and pear salad ($10.50), which was a bit too big to eat in one sitting. The highlight might have been the bacon and chocolate chip cookie ($2.50), which was so rich it needed to be cut with an espresso.
REASON TO GO
A cool vibe, stellar service and topnotch food make Aioli’s new location an easy choice for lunch.
Friendly and fast. Our meals arrived just a few minutes after we ordered.
Moderate at first, then loud as the lunchtime crowd filled in. The space’s high ceilings amplify normal conversations.
Yes, although we saw mainly a working lunch crowd when we visited. The atmosphere is casual, and prices are modest, so it’s a fine choice for children.
