When will Apple reopen in The Gardens Mall?

Shoppers looking to buy holiday gifts at the Apple Store at The Gardens Mall could be out of luck.

Eight months after the store closed for remodeling, mall officials said Thursday they can’t release the reopening date.  The Palm Beach Gardens location, which closed in March, is undergoing an expansion that will make it Apple's largest store in Palm Beach County.

“We’re making the Apple Store you love even lovelier,” the company’s website says of the Palm Beach Gardens location. “Until we reopen, please visit apple.com/retail to find the nearest store.”

With just over three weeks left in the holiday shopping season, it’s unclear whether the store will reopen before Christmas.
