The airport, which Travel + Leisure ranked as 9th best, was recognized for:

  • Check-in/security
  • Restaurants, bars, shopping and design.
  • The airport’s eight-hole putting green made the short list of “most notable” features.

The county’s travel marketing group, Discover the Palm Beaches, noted the distinction makes PBIA a standout among the nearly 400 airports in the country. “It is an honor to be recognized, and we are thankful to all of our 6.5 million passengers, partners and employees who make these wins happen,” the group said in a statement.
