Airline launches new nonstop flights to PBIA


OneJet will launch new nonstop service between Palm Beach International Airport and Pittsburgh today, with the inaugural flight scheduled to arrive here at 1:50 p.m., officials said.

The weekday flights to and from Pittsburgh International Airport are available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

The company has said the routes are designed for business travelers, including those employed by corporations in the Pittsburgh area. The 30-seat planes feature more leg room, free 4G high-speed Wi-Fi, streaming entertainment, and complimentary beer, wine and snacks.

“We’re extremely excited to welcome our southernmost destination, West Palm Beach to the OneJet network,” Matt Maguire, OneJet’s CEO said in a statement released today. “The Pittsburgh-West Palm Beach Route will provide a premium, convenient nonstop service option for both business and leisure travelers.”

OneJet opened its first base in Pittsburgh in May 2016 with two daily flights. The company now offers more than 220 weekly flights.
