Parched lawns may finally get some relief as forecasters are calling for a 30 percent chance of showers today.
It should be a pleasant day otherwise with a calm wind coming in from the southeast at about 5 miles per hour, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service.
Morning fog could limit visibility down to 2 miles on roads until 9 a.m.
By nightfall, the same 30 percent chance of rain exists, and the low should drop down to about 70 degrees.
Later this week, the area is expected to see a sharper dip in temps as a cold front moves into the area. Saturday night’s lows are now predicted to hover just above 50 degrees.
