Because of the wind, there’s an increased risk of rip currents for the beaches. NWS issued a hazardous weather outlook, predicting a high risk for rip currents starting today.

In the evening, more clouds roll in along with a 20 percent chance of showers. The low temperature hovers in the low 70s, with winds between 13 and 15 mph. Gusts could be up to 20 mph.

On Tuesday, expect a warmer day, with a high temperature in the low 70s. Strong winds will remain, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Forecasters predict a low temperater in the mid-70s on Tuesday night, with the wind tempering out around 15 mph.
