Soccer: Dwyer girls stop Forest Hill


Gianna Merigliano and Kayley Olsen each scored two goals, leading the Dwyer girls soccer team to a 6-1 rout of Forest Hill on Tuesday night in West Palm Beach.

With the victory, the Panthers improved to 4-4-1 on the season.

American Heritage 8, Benjamin 0: Jackie DiGiorgio had a hat trick and Sarah Borer and Emmy Schleifer scored two goals apiece as the Stallions (6-2) routed the Buccaneers in Palm Beach Gardens.

Lake Worth Christian 6, Glades Day 0: Angelina Adolphy and Hanna Toeneskoetter each scored a pair of goals and Sarah Franklin earned her fifth shutout in goal as the Defenders shut down the Gators in Boynton Beach.

St. Andrew’s 7, FAU High 1: Tatum Ireland kicked in two goals, Katie Feder scored another and Emma Swill added two assists as the Scots (6-3) handled the Owls in Boca Raton.

BOYS

Benjamin 1, Royal Palm Beach 1: Dennis Cabrera scored off an assist from Michael Acierno as the Buccaneers (5-0-1) tied the Wildcats.

Trinity Christian 1, Westminster Christian 1: Rogeni Decaster scored for the Warriors in a tie in Fort Lauderdale.

Boca Raton Christian 2, Spanish River 2: Stefan Kneffel scored two goals and Michael Bradway had 14 saves as the Blazers (6-1-1) tied the Sharks in Boca Raton.

Glades Day 5, Atlantic Christian 3: Christian Ellison scored two goals as the Gators defeated the Saints in Belle Glade.
