Soccer: Boca Raton girls improve to 11-2


Kendra Cashion had two goals and an assist, leading the Boca Raton girls soccer team to a 4-0 shutout of Spanish River on Tuesday night in Boca Raton.

Dayana Martin added two goals for the Bobcats (11-2).

St. John Paul II 4, Yeshiva 0: Isabel Sasso scored two goals and Erika Dagher added a goal and an assist as the Eagles (10-2) clinched first place in their district by shutting down the Storm in Boca Raton.

King’s Academy 2, Forest Hill 2: Allison Graves scored both goals for the Lions (3-9) in a tie against the Falcons in West Palm Beach.

Inlet Grove 8, Pahokee 0: Jada Hall scored four goals and Jordan Hall added two as the Hurricanes (5-8) breezed past the Blue Devils in Pahokee. Adysa Vernal made three saves for her first career shutout.

BOYS SOCCER

Atlantic 3, Boca Raton 2: Dieuson Millien, John Nalus and Bryce O’Halloran each scored a goal and Alex Cortes had nine saves as the Eagles (6-1-3) edged the Bobcats late Monday in Delray Beach.

Boca Raton 3, Spanish River 2: Greg Boko and Daniel Molina each scored a goal, but the Sharks (3-2) fell to the Bobcats in Boca Raton.

Lake Worth Christian 9, Coral Springs Christian 5: Nicholas Adolphy scored eight goals and A.J. Rodriguez had seven saves as the Defenders (5-7-1) defeated the Crusaders in Coral Springs.

Glades Day 9, Atlantic Christian 1: Jack Hilliard, Maury Castaneda, Dante Marquez and Lyn Castaneda each scored a goal as the Gators (5-3-1) routed the Sharks in Belle Glade.
