Roundup: No. 1 Dwyer boys earn tournament victory

Miles Coleman scored 25 points, leading the top-ranked Dwyer boys basketball team to an 84-56 rout of Orlando-Dr. Phillips at the DeLand Holiday Tournament on Thursday night.

Michael Ingraham added 19 points and Javonni Quince contributed 10 steals, nine rebounds and six points for the Panthers (9-0).

No. 3 Wellington 56, Royal Palm Beach 45: Nicholas Toledo had 15 points and six assists, Jonathan Philistin added 15 points and nine rebounds and Linton Brown contributed 12 points,as the Wolverines (8-0) got past the Wildcats at home.

No. 6 Benjamin 88, Somerset Prep 47: Ben Lubarsky had 26 points and 14 rebounds and Daniel McCollum added 13 points as the Buccaneers (8-0) breezed to the win in Palm Beach Gardens.

Jupiter 70, Centennial 58: Trent Webb led in scoring with 17 points and Larry Scott added 14 for the Warriors (5-4) in the win over the Eagles (4-4) in Jupiter.

Palm Beach Central 61, Golden Gate 56: Gyvicht Geneus had 23 points and 12 rebounds and Drew Potter added 16 points and four steals, as the Broncos held on at the Bear Bash in Naples.

Inlet Grove 64, Merritt Island Christian 41: Dante Mosely scored 30 points and Kevin Anders added 14 points and six assists, as the Hurricanes (5-3) defeated the Cougars at the Kiwanis Holiday Tournament in Melbourne.

Clewiston 56, Glades Day 23: Jaden Bryan scored 13 points, but the Gators (1-8) fell to the Tigers in Belle Glade.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

No. 5 Benjamin 111, Somerset College Prep 8: Anise Williams had 34 points, 10 assists and 10 steals and Devyn Dyett added 19 points, as the Buccaneers coasted past the Spartans in Port St. Lucie.

No. 6 Wellington 65, Royal Palm Beach 15: Aaliyah Bozeman scored five points, but the Wildcats (2-8) fell to the Wolverines in Royal Palm Beach.

No. 9 Jupiter 42, St. Cloud 37: Ellie Eide had 12 points and 10 rebounds and Megan McCants added 12 points, as the Warriors (10-2) got past the Bulldogs (10-3) in St. Cloud.

King’s Academy 48, Florida Christian 43: Haley Gantt had 17 points and 17 rebounds and Madison Lee and Alexis Hobbs each added nine points, helping the Lions (10-1) hold off the Patriots at the Calvary Christian Holiday Tournament in Fort Lauderdale.

BOYS SOCCER

Royal Palm Beach 3, Dwyer 2: Brando Marcus, Emmanuel Arroyave, Tajae Morgan each scored a goal, and Reggie Pierre added two assists as the Wildcats (7-2-3) edged the Panthers in Royal Palm Beach.

GIRLS SOCCER

Boca Raton 3, Wellington 0: The Bobcats shut down the Wolverines in Wellington.
