Lacrosse: Palm Beach Central girls roll to victory


Tia Drew scored three goals, leading the Palm Beach Central girls lacrosse team to a 17-2 rout of John I. Leonard on Tuesday.

Rachel Berman and Jesica Denera each scored two goals and Bentley Wharton had seven saves for the Broncos (7-6).

King’s Academy 16, Fort Lauderdale-Cardinal Gibbons 13: Mackenzie Marsh and Molly Erneston contributed four goals apiece and Maddy Diddle scored two goals as the Lions (10-1) got past the Chiefs in West Palm Beach.

Oxbridge Academy 24, Seminole Ridge 5: Kelly Coughlan and Mackenzie Wainman scored five goals apiece, Callie Zoeller added four goals and Olivia Cates had six saves as the Thunderwolves (5-4) rolled over the Hawks.

Parkland-Douglas 17, West Boca Raton 7: Sisters Sydney and Liv Krause each scored two goals, but the Bulls (3-6) fell to the Eagles.

BOYS

Dwyer 6, Wellington 3: Austin Bufano and Preston Bierman each scored two goals, and Sean Hayes added a goal and three assists as the Panthers (9-4) defeated the Wolverines in Palm Beach Gardens.
