Lacrosse: Oxbridge Academy girls stop Suncoast

Skylar Simmonds had seven goals and four assists, leading the Oxbridge Academy girls lacrosse team to a 26-15 victory over Suncoast on Tuesday in Riviera Beach.

Callie Zoeller added five goals for the Thunderwolves.

Palm Beach Central 5, Coral Springs Charter 2: Dominique Ploof scored two goals and Bentley Wharton had seven saves as the Broncos won in Wellington.

King’s Academy 8, Park Vista 2: Mackenzie Marsh and Molly Erneston each scored three goals as the Lions (8-1) downed the Cobras.

Jupiter 17, South Fork 8: Bridget Chriske and Rachel Miller each had two goals and an assist and Alexa Theander added a goal and an assist as the Warriors (9-4) overpowered the Bulldogs in Stuart.


Cardinal Newman 8, Palm Beach Gardens 6: Brock Chase scored two goals to lead the Crusaders over the Gators in West Palm Beach.

Oxbridge Academy 19, King’s Academy 0: Shane Waina scored five goals, Bennett Bowers added two and Colton McDona contributed seven saves as the Thunderwolves shut down the Lions in West Palm Beach.

Saint John Paul II 13, American Heritage 9: Shawn Gildae and Jared Thaloux each had three goals and two assists as the Eagles defeated the Stallions in Boca Raton. Gabe Finkelstein scored three goals for Heritage.
