Lacrosse: Dwyer boys hold off St. John Paul II

Preston Bierman scored three goals and Sean Haynes added two goals, leading the Dwyer boys lacrosse team to an 8-5 victory over St. John Paul II Academy on Tuesday in Palm Beach Gardens.

Sean Thompson contributed 11 saves for the Panthers (4-1).

Brandon Moore and Wyatt Martin scored two goals each for the Eagles (5-2).

St. Andrew’s 10, Oxbridge Academy 6: Carl Klemperer scored four goals and Owen Bozick added two to lead the Scots over the Thunderwolves in Boca Raton. Bennett Bowers and Bobby Kilian each scored two goals for Oxbridge.


Jupiter 21, Oxbridge Academy 16: Juliana Aiello scored six goals, Jenna Keller added five and Samantha Stalter contributed four as the Warriors (4-1) defeated the ThunderWolves in Jupiter.

Cardinal Newman 18, Vero Beach-St. Edward’s 7: Piper Fendrich scored four goals and Kelly Denes scored three as the Crusaders routed the Pirates in Vero Beach.
