Lacrosse: Cardinal Newman girls improve to 9-1


MacKenzie Porter had three goals and an assist, leading the Cardinal Newman girls lacrosse team to a 19-3 rout of West Boca Raton on Friday in West Palm Beach.

Julianna Cerbone added five takeaways for the Crusaders (9-1).

Park Vista 12, Atlantic 3: Trista Mears scored six goals and Blair Mason added four as the Cobras handled the Eagles (2-6) in Delray Beach.

St. Andrew’s 16, Parkland-Douglas 13: Emma Braden had eight goals and an assist and Kylie MacDonald added six goals as the Scots held on to win in Boca Raton.

St. John Paul II Academy 12, Boca Raton 9: Camden Etten scored three goals and Tyler Etten contributed two as the Eagles (7-3) got past the Bobcats.
