Lacrosse: Cardinal Newman girls edge Jupiter


Tammy Hutchison scored four goals, helping the Cardinal Newman girls lacrosse team edge Jupiter 16-15 on Thursday night in Jupiter.

Piper Fendierch added three goals for the Crusaders (10-2).

Oxbridge Academy 22, Seminole Ridge 8: Skylar Simmonds scored eight goals, Callie Zoeller contributed six and Olivia Cates collected six saves as the Thunderwolves (4-4) routed the Hawks.

Palm Beach Central 12, Atlantic 8: Goalie Bentley Wharton had 20 saves and Tia Drew and Rileigh Favre each contributed four goals as the Broncos (6-5) defeated the Eagles.

BOYS

Dwyer 12, King’s Academy 3: Austin Bufano scored three goals and Ryan Kerr added two goals as the Panthers (8-4) handled the Lions in Palm Beach Gardens.
