Girls soccer: Wellington earns 13th victory


Samantha Sullivan and Alli Rehr each scored a goal, leading the Wellington girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over Jensen Beach on Thursday night in Jensen Beach.

Alexa Kobi and Lindsay Schindler combined on the shutout in goal for the Wolverines (13-3-1).

Cardinal Newman 2, Martin County 0: Rebekah Brawley and Izabella Rescigno each scored a goal as the Crusaders shut out the Tigers in Stuart.

Saint John Paul II 3, Westminster Academy 2: Katie Trainor, Maria Liguori and Erika Dagher each scored a goal, helping the Eagles (12-2) win in Boca Raton.

Lake Worth Christian 5, Inlet Grove 0: Brooke Santiago had three goals and two assists and Fiona Baran added two goals and an assist, leading the Defenders (14-1) over the Hurricanes in Boynton Beach.

St. Andrew’s 2, Somerset Canyons 0: Emma Swill and Lize Schwartz each scored a goal as the Scots (2-8-1) defeated the Cougars in Boca Raton.
