Girls soccer: Olympic Heights earns 11th victory


Skylar Deutch scored a hat trick, leading the Olympic Heights girls soccer team to an 8-0 rout of Inlet Grove on Friday night in Riviera Beach.

Sydney Durrance added two goals and an assist and Victoria Barreto earned her 12th shutout and scored on a penalty kick for the Lions (11-2-2).

Oxbridge Academy 5, Cardinal Newman 0: Allison Breed scored two goals and Lizzie Spears, Camryn Socha and Hannah Kanjian each added a goal as the Thunderwolves (5-1) shut down the Crusaders in West Palm Beach.

West Boca Raton 5, Fort Lauderdale 0: Kelsey Clark scored two goals, Emily Thill added a goal and an assist and Julia Wheeler earned her second shutout as the Bulls (11-1) defeated the Flying L’s in Boca Raton.

Miami-Lourdes 2, Boca Raton 1: Dayana Martin scored a goal, but the Bobcats fell in Boca Raton.
