Girls soccer: Jupiter improves to 5-0


Lily Ganelli had a hat trick and two assists, leading the Jupiter girls soccer team to an 8-0 rout of Fort Pierce Central on Friday in Jupiter.

Brielle Pearce added two goals and two assists and Julia Cain earned her fourth shutout for Jupiter.

Boca Raton 5, Park Vista 0: Kendra Cashion had two goals and two assists, and Jane Nordhagen and Lara Larco combined for the shutout as the Bobcats (4-1) stopped the Cobras in Boca Raton.

King’s Academy 2, Jensen Beach 1: Krissy Hanlon added a goal and an assist and Alexandra Lares added a goal as the Lions doubled up on the Falcons in West Palm Beach.

West Boca Raton 2, Olympic Heights 1: Emily Thill scored both goals as the Bulls (2-1) edged the Lions (2-1-2) in Boca Raton. Kaley Tanis scored a goal and Victoria Barreto had seven saves for Heights.

Inlet Grove 5, Lake Worth 2: Jada Hall scored four goals and sister Jordan Hall added another as the Hurricanes (2-2) defeated the Trojans in Riviera Beach.

Lake Worth Christian 3, Somerset Canyons 0: Brooke Santiago scored two goals, Angelina Adolphy added a goal and Bella Urso earned her third shutout as the Defenders (5-0) shut down the Cougars in Boynton Beach.

American Heritage 0, Spanish River 0: Jonelle Baron earned her third consecutive shutout as the Stallions (2-0-1) tied the Sharks late Thursday.
