Girls basketball: Wellington to face Gardens in district final

Camryn Debose scored 15 points, leading the seventh-ranked Wellington girls basketball team to a 46-34 victory over Palm Beach Central in a District 9-9A semifinal Thursday night in Palm Beach Gardens.

Sydney Jones added 14 points for the top-seeded Wolverines against the fifth-seeded Broncos. Wellington advances to face Palm Beach Gardens in tonight’s district final.

No. 6 Palm Beach Gardens 69, No. 8 Jupiter 29: Kiera Brown had 19 points, seven steals and four rebounds and Zariyah Washington added 15 points, four rebounds, three steals and three assists as the second-seeded Gators routed the third-seeded Warriors in a District 9-9A semifinal in Palm Beach Gardens. The Gators will face Wellington for the district championship Friday at 7 p.m.

Grandview Prep 52, Atlantic Christian 24: Danielle Montelbano had 15 points and six assists, Alexis Romer added 11 points and eight assists and Scarlett Anosier contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds as the top-seeded Pride routed the second-seeded Sharks in the District 7-2A championship in Boca Raton.
