Girls basketball: No. 5 Wellington defeats No. 8 Jupiter

Camryn Debose scored 21 points, leading Wellington to a 52-41 victory over Jupiter in a matchup of ranked girls basketball teams Thursday night in Jupiter.

Sydney Jones added 11 points for the fifth-ranked the Wolverines (14-3).

Megan McCants scored 11 points and Carley Salter added six points and 12 rebounds for No. 8 Jupiter (15-3).

No. 2 Oxbridge Academy 63, King’s Academy 22: Aaliyah Stanley had 25 points and seven steals, Haley Howarth added 23 points and Kaylon Smith contributed 11 points and 10 rebounds as the Thunderwolves (18-4) routed the Lions in West Palm Beach.

Palm Beach Gardens 69, John I. Leonard 34: Tatiana Saint Louis scored 11 points, Keiana Ivory added seven and Chelsea Davis contributed five points and two blocks as the Gators (13-4) rolled over the Lancers in Greenacres.

No. 10 Lake Worth 38, Spanish River 24: Donyell Harris had 12 points, seven rebounds and five blocks, and Kayliegh Taylor added 10 points as the Trojans (12-7) handled the Sharks in Boca Raton.

Dwyer 58, Royal Palm Beach 37: Kennedy Foster scored 18 points as the Panthers (11-9) handled the Wildcats (3-10) in Royal Palm Beach. Anaiah Banks scored 23 points for Royal Palm.
