Girls basketball: Warriors improve to 4-0 on the season


Megan McCants scored 28 points, leading the undefeated Jupiter girls basketball team to a 63-28 rout of Park Vista on Friday night in Jupiter.

Orla Walsh added 10 more points for the Warriors (4-0).

King’s Academy 34, Berean Christian 29: Arantza Guiterrez scored nine points, Haley Gantt added eight points and 14 rebounds and Alexis Hobbs contributed eight points, as the Lions (4-0) got past the Bulldogs in West Palm Beach.

St. Andrew’s 45, Saint John Paul II 13: Nicole Whitaker and Sydney Rieland each scored nine points as the Scots claimed the win over the Eagles in Boca Raton.

Dwyer 71, Boytnon Beach 28: Fatima Logan scored 13 points, Ari Felder and Courtney Clark each added 12 and Nateria Freeman grabbed 11 rebounds as the Panthers (2-4) handled the Tigers late Thursday in Palm Beach Gardens.
