Girls Basketball: Park Vista, King’s Academy, Lake Worth Christian win


Park Vista 48, John I. Leonard 42: Cayla Polsky had 22 points and five rebounds, Brooke Bogatz added 20 points, grabbed eight rebounds and seven steals and Jasmine Morales had seven rebounds as the Cobras (3-2) defeated the Lancers in Boynton Beach.

King’s Academy 52, Glades Central 33: Isabel Albert scored 16 points and Haley Gantt had a triple-double with 14 rebounds, 12 blocks, and 10 points as the Lions (5-0) handled the Raiders in West Palm Beach. Wiskey Lemene scored 15 points for the Raiders.

Lake Worth Christian 56, Highlands Christian 24: Jillian Schenk scored 17 points and Riley Mizell added 13 points as the Defenders (8-1) handled the Knights in Fort Lauderdale.

Grandview Prep 61, Hollywood-Sheridan Hills Christian 14: Alexis Romer had 16 points and 10 assists, and Scarlett Anosier added 10 points and 17 rebounds, leading the Pride over the Knights in Boca Raton.

Atlantic Christian Academy 50, Donna Klein Academy 15: Chasity Lockhart had 14 points, six steals, 10 rebounds and five assists, and Britney Carson added 13 points, grabbed five steals, five rebounds and had six assists, and Kelly Noel contributed 10 points, six steals and five assists as the Sharks (5-1) ripped the Eagles in West Palm Beach.

Fort Lauderdale-Pine Crest School 57, American Heritage 14: Taylor Romano scored eight points, including two three-pointers, and Bianca Cherubin added four points for the Stallions in a loss to the Panthers in Fort Lauderdale.

LATE MONDAY

Seminole Ridge 39, Palm Beach Central 37 (2OT): Aneeshea Cason had 15 points and nine rebounds, Lynzie Smikle added 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Jahnae Midget contributed eight points and eight rebounds as the Hawks got past the Broncos in a double-overtime matchup in Loxahatchee.

Benjamin School 72, Oxbridge Academy 55: Anise Williams scored 18 points and grabbed three steals, and Emma Laszewski added 12 points as the Buccaneers (6-1) handled the ThunderWolves in Palm Beach Gardens.
