Girls basketball: Palm Beach Gardens, Wellington, Palm Beach Lakes win


Palm Beach Gardens 50, John I. Leonard 13: Halle Patrick led the Gators with 11 points and two steals, and Kiera Brown was four points shy of a quadruple double with 10 points, 10 rebounds, 10 steals and six assists, as the Gators routed the Lancers in Palm Beach Gardens.

Wellington 62, Jupiter 35: Sydney Jones had 17 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, and Jill Duncan added 11 points and eight assists as the Wolverines (5-2) routed the Warriors in Wellington.

Palm Beach Lakes 61, Suncoast 23: Brittany Wilcox scored 17 points and pulled down eight rebounds, and Keishmy Ayuso added 13 points and four steals, as the Rams (4-0) handled the Chargers in West Palm Beach.

Boca Raton 80, Atlantic 29: Audrey Ramsey scored 22 points with eight assists, and Kelsi Mingo added 16 points as the Bobcats got past the Eagles in Boca Raton.

West Boca Raton 62, Royal Palm Beach 25: Kim Gillion scored 16 points as the Bulls defeated the Wildcats (2-5) in Royal Palm Beach. Maria LeBrun scored five points for the Wildcats.

Berean Christian 39, Village Academy 25: Jenna Brannon’s 19 points helped lead the Bulldogs (2-4) past the Tigers in Delray Beach.

Lake Worth 52, Spanish River 27: Markadala Theophile scored 13 points and Kayliegh Taylor added 11 points as the Trojans (4-3) defeated the Sharks in Lake Worth.

Oxbridge 72, Benjamin 52: Kaylon Smith had a game-high 20 points and Alexa Zaph added 17 as the ThunderWolves (4-2) got past the Buccaneers in West Palm Beach. Anise Williams scored 16 points for the Buccaneers.
