Girls basketball: Palm Beach Central, Boynton Beach, Grandview win

Palm Beach Central 53, Cardinal Newman 47: Shelby Gard had 14 points, Jasmine Malone added 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds, and Yoslene Quiles contributed 10 points and eight assists as the Broncos (3-7) got past the Crusaders at the Palm Beach Shootout at Atlantic Christian School.

Boynton Beach 52, Atlantic Christian 43: Britney Carver had 19 points, including three three-pointers, Jennifer Rodriguez added 10 points and Kelly Noel contributed nine points, but the host Sharks (6-4) fell to the Tigers at the Palm Beach Shootout.

Grandview Prep 48, Dwyer 37: Danielle Montelbano scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and six steals, and Scarlett Anosier added 12 points and 12 rebounds as the Pride (9-4) topped the Panthers at the National Championship Tournament at Palm Beach Gardens High School. Octavia Johnson scored 12 points for Dwyer.

Seminole Ridge 50, John I. Leonard 40: Aneeshea Cason had 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Kyla Lewis grabbed six rebounds, and Ayanna Wiltshire contributed seven points and had two steals as the Hawks (6-6) handled the Lancers at the Palm Beach Shootout at John I. Leonard High School. Aja Gregg scored 11 points for the Lancers.

Oxbridge 58, Wisconsin-Appleton North 46: Aaliyah Stanley led all scorers with 28 points, including five three-pointers and a perfect five-for-five at the free-throw line, as the ThunderWolves (8-3) defeated the Lightning at the Tampa Bay Christmas Invitational Tournament.

Palm Beach Lakes 64, Maryland-Academy of the Holy Cross 34: Kevanika Brown had 17 points and four steals, Brittany Wilcox added 15 points and seven rebounds, and Sh’Naya Anderon contributed 11 points and 10 rebounds as the Rams (9-0) handled the Tartans at the Holiday Classic of the Palm Beaches at The Benjamin School
