Girls basketball: Jupiter earns 14th victory


Aayden Ghee scored 16 points, leading the Jupiter girls basketball team to a 56-36 win over Treasure Coast on Friday night in Port St. Lucie.

Ellie Eide added 13 points and Megan McCants contributed 12 for the Warriors (14-2).

Palm Beach Gardens 60, American Heritage 16: Zariyah Washington and Sade Bell each scored 11 points as the Gators coasted past the Stallions in Palm Beach Gardens.

Boca Raton 60, Florida Prep 57: Hannah Pratt had 17 points and eight rebounds and Audrey Ramsey added 14 points, leading the Bobcats to the victory.

Berean Christian 51, Boca Raton Christian 14: Jenna Brannon and Rachel Perez each scored 13 points and Zoe Baumeler added 11 as the Bulldogs (8-7) rolled over the Blazers at the Sunshine State Athletic Conference Tournament in Deerfield Beach.

Seminole Ridge 55, Glades Central 39: Jahnae Midget had 33 points and 11 rebounds, Aneeshea Cason racked up 11 points and 11 assists and Lynzie Smikle added six points and 12 rebounds, helping the Hawks (8-7) stop the Raiders in Belle Glade.
