Girls basketball: Grandview Prep stops Cardinal Newman


Paula Bravo scored 17 points, leading the Grandview Prep girls basketball team to a 65-48 victory over Cardinal Newman in the Palm Beach Shoot Out in West Palm Beach.

Scarlett Anosier added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Pride.

Grace Hundley scored 25 points for Newman.

Clearwater-Superior Collegiate 43, Atlantic Christian 38: Brittany Carver made four 3-pointers and scored 27 points and Chasity Lockhart added eight points, but the Sharks (6-4) fell to the Legions at the Palm Beach Shoot Out Tournament in West Palm Beach.
