Girls basketball: St. Andrew’s earns 14th victory

Alexa Gutchess made six 3-pointers and scored 20 points to lead the St. Andrew’s girls basketball team to a 52-39 victory over King’s Academy on Tuesday night in West Palm Beach.

With the victory, St. Andrew’s improved to 14-6 on the season.

Fort Pierce-Lincoln Park Academy 57, John I. Leonard 38: Aja Gregg had 17 points and 15 rebounds, Tecaria Glover added 11 points and seven assists, and Zaida Gonzalez contributed 13 rebounds and five assists, but the Lancers (8-13) fell to the Greyhounds in Greenacres.

Atlantic Christian 59, Hollywood-Sheridan Hills Christian 16: Britney Carver had 21 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and four steals and Kelly Noel added 18 points and five steals to lead Atlantic Christian (9-4) to the win in Hollywood. Jennifer Rodriguez contributed nine rebounds and six points in the victory.
