Forest Hill tops Dwyer, Jupiter wins in baseball action


No. 7 Forest Hill 3, No. 2 Dwyer 1: Danny Maloney pitched the Falcons (9-3) past the Panthers in West Palm Beach.

No. 3 Jupiter 5, No. 5 Park Vista 1: Zach Chivers pitched five innings, allowed one hit, one run and struck out six, and Andrew Martinez was 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI as the visiting Warriors (9-2) handled the Cobras.

No. 9 Trinity Christian 4, Christ Presbyterian 3: Kaeber Rog went 3-for-4 with an RBI as the Warriors (9-4) outlasted the Lions in West Palm Beach.

Santaluces 5, Spanish River 1: Kyle Swaters was 2-for-3 with an RBI triple and a run and Malik Lissone pitched three innings and gave up no runs and went 1-for-2 with a double as the Chiefs (4-6) defeated the Sharks (6-5).

Olympic Heights 4, Santaluces 1: Brooks Lamb was 1-for-3 with two RBI, and Matt Levine pitched five innings, struck out two and gave up a run as the Lions (1-8) got their first win of the year, overpowering the Chiefs.

Jupiter Christian 2, Cardinal Newman 1: Reed Burke pitched a complete game and struck out 10, and Noah Noonan went 1-for-3 with an RBI as the Eagles got past the Crusaders.
