Dwyer, Suncoast, Cardinal Newman win in boys lacrosse


Dwyer 17, Jupiter Christian 5: Thomas Dean scooped in four goals and had three assists; Sean Haymes scored two goals and had six assists, and goalie Drew McKenna grabbed seven saves as the Panthers (6-2) defeated the Eagles in Palm Beach Gardens. Michael Holahan had two goals in the loss.

Suncoast 15, John I. Leonard 1: Colin Meloy and Dylan McDonald scored three goals each and Patrick Hofmann contributed two more as the Chargers (3-4) defeated the Lancers in Riviera Beach.

Cardinal Newman 11, Park Vista 7: Chase Duran had four goals; Jayson Moschella had two goals and two assists, and goalie Joey Mockoviak grabbed 14 saves as the Crusaders overcame a three-goal deficit in the fourth quarter and defeated the Cobras in Boynton Beach.
