Boys soccer: Boynton Beach escapes in overtime


Karl Joseph made the game-winning goal in overtime, as the Boynton Beach boys soccer team edged Okeechobee 2-2 in the Class 4A regional quarterfinals in Boynton Beach.

With the victory, the Tigers improved to 18-4-1 on the season.

Atlantic 2, Royal Palm Beach 0: John Nalus and Rodrigo Albayeros each scored a goal, as the Eagles shut down the Wildcats in the Class 5A regional quarterfinal in Delray Beach.

American Heritage 4, Coconut Creek-North Broward Prep 1: Therdens Conserve scored two goals and Alex Guichard and Laurence Longmore each added a goal as the Stallions (16-3-1) won in the Class 4A regional quarterfinals in Delray Beach.
