Boys soccer: Atlantic shuts down Spanish River


Rodrigo Albayero scored the lone goal as the Atlantic boys soccer team shut out Spanish River 1-0 on Thursday night in Boca Raton.

Alex Cortese earned the shutout in goal for the Eagles (3-1-0).

Benjamin 3, Oxbridge Academy 0: David Hall had four saves, but the ThunderWolves (1-1-1) fell to the Buccaneers on Wednesday in Palm Beach Gardens.

Berean Christian 8, Atlantic Christian 0: Caleb Wells had two goals and an assist, Nael Guerrier added two assists and brother goalie Mikael Guerrier earned his first shutout as the Bulldogs (3-0-1) routed the Saints in West Palm Beach.

Jupiter Christian 0, Glades Day 0: Angel Canon had 12 saves to earn the shutout as the Eagles (2-0-1) tied the Gators in Jupiter.
