Boys basketball: No. 3 Wellington improves to 6-0


Bryan Williams made four 3-pointers and scored 16 points, leading the third-ranked Wellington boys basketball team to a 65-30 rout of Pahokee on Thursday night in Pahokee.

Jonathan Philistin added 10 points, Sean Smith contributed eight points and Nicholas Toledo had six assists for the Wolverines (6-0).

Boca Raton Christian 62, Village Academy 59: Brandon Brivio had 22 points and nine rebounds and Brian Van Bavel added 16 points as the Blazers (4-3) held off the Tigers in Delray Beach.

Hollywood-Sheridan Hills Christian 66, Glades Day 49: A.J. McPhee scored 16 points, Jacob Camacho added 15 and Victor Perez contributed 14, but the Gators (1-5) fell to the Sharks in Hollywood.
